Adsense Makes Cents - Opening an Adsense Account
Adsense AccountI think the biggest joy of using Google Adsense is the user friendly approach to everything you want to do. Originally I was worried about signing up for an Adsense Account thinking it would be to complicated but that's not the case.The sign up is a step by step system so that will take you through the entire process and then comes the Ad options. Adsense will ask what type of ads you would like to display and the choices are endless. With Google Adsense you have the option of text ads or text picture ads, video ads and so on. Depending on the application you have your choice of ads may vary.Adding Google AdsenseTo start off if you are using Blogger I would pick the ad format and then let adsense choose the template. Also note, if you think plastering ads all over your site will make more money you are wrong. If fact the less ads you have the higher quality the ad will be. Again you can filter you ads or let Google choose them. For me, letting Google choose has always worked for me.In Blogger you will need to pick the Ad format, I like the vertical banner myself but thats up to you. Many times I will run a certain format and if things don't happen I will change the ad style. You would be amazed what difference that will make.Boost your Adsense EarningsAdsense alone on your Blog will not make money, people have to know you are alive. Search Engines love content that is original and fresh so make sure you write you own stuff and UPDATE. Personally when starting off I would aim for an article a day and this will make your site more attractive. Also when you update be sure to ping the site Pingomatic is a favourite for many people and really accomplishes the task.

How I started with Adsence
Learn from My Adsence MistakesWhen I first heard about Google Adsence I was all set to make some good cash. Like most people I jumped right in to it without actually understanding what I was doing. A few weeks went by with Adsence posted on a few Blogs and there was no action, then a month and still nothing. So what was I doing wrong, the blog seemed interesting and the ads matched my content. The problem was that I was the only one who knew it existed.Google Adsence Webmaster ToolsAfter doing a little research I discovered Webmaster Tools available right on your account page under diagnostics. The Webmaster Tools provide an absolute wealth of information from the last time google checked out your site to how many visitors are interested in your content. I won't go into explaining every little thing about Webmaster Tools because there is plenty of documentation when you get there. I do strongly recommend getting all of your sites listed and verified on Webmaster Tools.Seo and AdsenceSeo and Google Adsence kind of go hand and hand, one won't work quite as good without the other. SEO (search Engine Optimization) is the ability to create a Blog or Web page that the Search Engines like to visit thus making it rank higher in the listings. If you rank a site in the top 10 you will get much more traffic then a site buried in millions of others. SEO techniques and tips are found all over the internet. In order for Adsence to make cents take my advise and at least understand SEO before you set out to conquer the world, it will pay off.In my next post we will examine some of the Adsence Shortcuts that may land you in a lot of hot water. If you've been on the internet for a while then I'm sure you have heard of Google Adsence. What Adsence does is allow anybody with a Blog or Website to post Ads provided by Google. In return, anyone who clicks on an Adsence advertisement counts as a click for the host and this is how money is made.Some people think they can become millionaires overnight using Google Adsence but it isn't that easy. The thing to keep in mind is there are millions of other people on the internet as well and they have great sites and blogs too. Your content must be unique and currently updated in order to draw attention to yourself. Google Adsence income is based on the traffic that visits your site and what they do while they are on it.Plastering your blog or Website is not the right idea for Adsence to work in your favour. To be honest the less ads you put the better quality ones will actually show. You can filter what advertising is displayed on the site or just leave it up to Google. Personally I let Google handle my Adsence advertising and it works out well.I started off just by blogging and once I got enough content I added Adsence to my blog. Blogger and adsensce work very well together and adding it to your blog is never a problem. So why not begin. First you need to visit google Adsence and sign up for an Adsence account. Once that is done and you are approved you can start advertising on your blog. If it sounds easy that's because it is.I suggest you also look into the Adsence forum and you can also take the next step and visit my Adsense Makes Money blog where we will get deeper into Google Adsense.
